DECR Chairman meets with Charge d'Affaires of Russia in Japan

On September 8 in Tokyo, Chairman the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk met with Charge d'Affaires of Russia in Japan Mr. G. A. Ovechko.

They discussed a number of topics of mutual concern.

Taking part in the meeting were also Head of the Consular Department of the Embassy Mr. Y. V. Altukhov, the rector of the Metochion of the Russian Orthodox Church in Japan – Archpriest Nikolai Kotsuban of the Alexander Nevsky church in Tokyo, Assistant to DECR Chairman Priest Aleksandr Yershov, and Mr. P. N. Kotsuban.

In conclusion of the meeting, Metropolitan Anthony presented, to Mr. G. A. Ovechko, a commemorative sketchbook of the Department for External Church Relations.
