Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk visits the Diocese of Argentina churches in Buenos-Aires

On February 9, during his stay in Buenos-Aires, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations, visited Orthodox churches in the Argentinian capital.
At the entrance to the Chapel of Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky, the DECR Chairman, accompanied by members of the Moscow church delegation, was welcomed by Bishop Leonid of Argentina and South America.
Accompanied by the secretary of the Diocese of Argentina and the rector of the Cathedral of the Annunciation, Archpriest Sergey Yurin, the archpastors proceeded to the sanctuary and venerated the shrines kept in the church.
On the same day, Metropolitan Anthony inspected the process of restoration work in the Cathedral of the Annunciation.
The DECR Chairman wished Bishop Leonid God’s help in his service in the South American continent and successes in implementing the stipulated plans.
