Dear Ms Merkel,
I would like to express my appreciation for the kind attention you gave to the Russian-speaking Orthodox Christians in Germany when holding high office as the head of the Federal Government. The appeals lodged by the Russian Orthodox Church to the country’s authorities were met with a positive response.
I value highly your willingness to devote energy and time to the demanding and important service entrusted to you by the German people. Your contribution to the resolution of various complicated international problems gained you worldwide respect as a wise and responsible politician.
Dear Ms Merkel, I wish you strength in body and spirit and blessed success in your further work.
